Camp Description: Operated on 1,100 acres on the shores of Beaver Lake in the heart of the Pocono Mountains. Day Camp, Resident Camp, User Groups and Outdoor Education programs are offered by YMCA Camp Kresge, year round.

Job Description and Required Certifications: The Waterfront Director is responsible for the smooth operation of all aquatic programs at camp. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: supervising lifeguards, counselors and campers in an aquatic environment. The Waterfront Director oversees the daily operations of the aquatics program including safe program management, staff schedules, in-service training and time off. The Waterfront Director sets the pace of for safety and fun at our waterfront and must have experience supervising their peers as well as children. Great computer skills, communication skills and organizational skills are a must for success in this position. Experience communicating with adults and children in a clear and calm manner is a plus. Incumbent must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Candidate must have current Lifeguard Certification from a Nationally recognized body (i.e. YMCA, Red Cross) and must be a certified swim lesson instructor, or be capable of obtaining the certification.

Salary Information: $250 per week
