Essential Functions

 Functions 

  • Team player with personal commitment to YMCA Mission, Philosophy & Character Development Values
  • Lead lessons for Beginner and Intermediate Program participants
  • Work with Equestrian Program Coordinator to ensure good health and safety for all horses and program participants
  • Ensure cleanliness of the barn and surrounding areas
  • Complete required paperwork in timely manner
  • Work in tandem with other camp staff to create a safe and welcoming experience for all
  • Ability to accept guidance and supervision
  • Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, self-control, maturity, responsibility, sound judgment, and good decision-making skills
  • Be of good character, and in sympathy with the goals and objectives of YMCA Camp Piomingo
  • Other duties as assigned 

STARTING SALARY:  $425+/week (DOE)
STATUS: Part-time; Non-exempt, Seasonal
SHIFT: Sunday – Friday, daily hourly breaks, housing and meals provided
