Camp Description: Camp Carter YMCA is a year round camp located 20 minutes from downtown Fort Worth. It is located on over 300 wooded acres, with its own lake and waterfront access to the Trinity river. Facilities available include our very own Equestrian center, which can offer specialized horseback riding to all levels and a covered riding arena. Challenge course facilities including Rock Climbing, Big Swing, Zip Line and Pamper Pole. Swimming Pool with 3 slides, Athletic fields, Archery, Biking equipment, Riflery, Skeet Shooting, Basketball Court, Soccer Field, Canoeing/Kyaking, Volleyball Court. Our duplex cabins are air conditioned, each side has private shower and restroom facilities. Camp Kitchen that provides hot cooked meals to order.

Job Description and Required Certifications: The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth is looking for an Executive Director of Camp. This is a great career opportunity for a dynamic and experienced leader to manage the operations of camp. The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth has a legacy of outstanding YMCA staff who are innovative, driven, community and member focused, and committed to our cause. Under the direction of the Chief Property Officer, the Executive Director of Camp is responsible for developing and implementing resident camp, outdoor education, conference and retreat, and family programs. Key focus areas include facility management, public relations, marketing, recruitment, and program development. The Executive Director ensures the operation of all programs according to YMCA policies and standards established by the Board of Directors of the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth. The Executive Director provides leadership to Association-wide efforts to fulfill the operating objectives of the Association. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and monitoring operating budgets and ensure that operating budgets have achieved and/or exceeded set annual goals. Meeting the goals of general responsibilities is demonstrated by satisfaction of program participants and returning camper rate of participants as well as operation within guidelines of YMCA policies. Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate must be at least 25 years of age with five years progressive management experience, including staff supervision. The incumbent will direct strategic planning efforts and develop the annual operating plan of the branch which supports the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth's strategic plan. Candidate should possess demonstrated skills in successful community-based program implementation and development of community program partnerships, experience in budget development and management, and measurable progression and success in annual sustaining campaign/fund raising. Individual should possess demonstrated ability to work within the community and demonstrated written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Salary Information: $57000 - $68000
