Camp Description: The Triangle Y Ranch Camp and Retreat Center is located in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains outside Oracle, Arizona and is approximately a 50 minute drive from downtown Tucson, Arizona. The camp has proudly served Southern Arizona for more than 50 years. At an elevation of 5,000 feet, the camp covers 400 acres within the Coronado National Forest offering a unique outdoor experience for all ages. Currently the camp operates year-round with 6 weeks of traditional YMCA youth resident camping in the summer.

Job Description and Required Certifications: The YMCA of Southern Arizona Triangle Y Ranch Camp and Retreat Center is a year round residential camp, located in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains. The YMCA of Southern Arizona is looking for an experienced Executive Director for their staff team to make the Camp experience a safe and memorable one for returning and new summer and group retreat campers. The Executive Director of the Triangle Y Ranch Camp will lead a staff team and be responsible for the administration of the total operation. Responsibilities will include budget development, fiscal management and control, financial development, management of facilities, grounds and equipment, program development and operations, promotion and marketing, volunteer leadership development, strategic planning, personnel administration, board/staff development, and risk management. The Executive Director will need to implement the policies, procedures, and standards established by the YMCA of Southern Arizona Metropolitan Board, the Triangle Y Ranch Camp Board of Managers, and the YMCA of Southern Arizona Administration. In addition, the Executive Director serves as a member of the YMCA of Southern Arizona Executive Cabinet. The Executive Director must demonstrate strong skills in public relations, summer and group retreat management, program development, board/volunteer development and fiscal management. This position requires sound administrative and supervision skills. A Bachelors Degree and a minimum of three years professional camping experience are required. YMCA Multi-Team or Organizational Leader and YMCA camp management experience is preferred. This person must possess effective and professional oral and written communication skills and must be able to plan and organize with minimal supervision. . This is a full-time exempt position not limited to 40 hour work weeks with a compensation package that includes health insurance, vacation, sick pay and holidays per our company policy guidelines and 10% towards Y retirement upon meeting retirement fund eligibility requirements. The Executive Director must live in onsite housing at the Triangle Y Ranch Camp and Retreat Center for at least the first year of employment.
Salary Information: 60,000-67,000 DOE
