Camp Description: YMCA Camp Matollionequay is located less than 1 hour east of Philadelphia and 2 hours south of NYC, nestled on 800 acres of Pinelands. We have an amazing summer staff of 100 talented people from all over the world to bring approximately 800 campers to camp for 9 weeks each summer. We believe strongly in our mission and are highly selective in our staff hiring. Job Description and Required Certifications: YMCA Camp Matollionequay is looking for a nurse for our resident camp program. Primary functions include caring for sick or injured campers on a daily basis, dispensing medication, responding to emergencies, maintaining health logs and overseeing camper and staff health and wellness throughout the summer. Candidate must have current RN/LPN/EMT/CCMA certification with current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications; must be a minimum of 21 years of age, a clean driving history and be in good physical health. Preferred candidate has experience working with children and young adults. He /She must be punctual, have an attention to detail and be able to take direction well. YMCA Camp Matollionequay has created a culture of excellence through hiring quality staff, putting the campers first and promoting good character values.
Salary Information: $500-600/week. Must live on property.
