Camp Description: YMCA Camp Shady Brook is located 90 minutes Southwest of Denver on the South Platte River, nestled in the beautiful Rocky Mountains at 6800 feet in elevation. We have an amazing summer staff of 50 talented people from all over the world to bring approximately 150 campers to camp for 10 different weeks each summer. We believe strongly in our mission and are highly selective in our staff hiring. YMCA Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Job Description and Required Certifications: Responsible for preparing good tasting healthy food under the supervision of the Food Service Director. Will maintain a safe, clean kitchen, as well as assist with food preparation and cleanup. Meals and lodging provided. Employment Dates: May 27th-August 3rd. MINIMUM CRITERIA FOR CANDIDATES: Required: •18 years of age or older •First Aid & CPR Certification Preferred: •Previous camp experience •Previous experience working in a kitchen setting •Current ServSafe Food Handler certification KEY FOCUS AREAS: •Food preparation •Kitchen cleanliness •Assisting with special food needs

Salary Information: Summer seasonal position for 10 weeks.$2,040- $2,160/season
