Job Description and Required Certifications: Help lead the dynamic team at Camp Wiyaka! The Asst. Camp Director will work with the Camp Director overseeing the daily operation of camp including programming, food service, staff supervision(staff of 25), daily activities, safety, health care, parent interactions and camp administration. Asst. Camp Director should have experience supervising others, strong organizational skills and experience and knowledge of the summer camp environment. A BA is recreation, education or related field is desired but not required. The Asst. Camp Director must be 21 years of age and have current CPR, AED and First Aid Certs for adults and children by start of camp season. Camp Wiyaka is a small resident camp located in Richmond, NH, approx. 20 minutes south of Keene, NH. Campers sleep in platform tents and enjoy the simple pleasures of camp life such as swimming, boating, archery, sports and games, arts and crafts, nightly campfires and field trips for canoeing and hiking. Salary Information: $2,500-$3,000 for camp season Pt work begins May 1, 2013 and hours are negotiable. Camp season (ft hours) begins June 20, 2013 and ends mid-August.
