Camp Kern consists of 485 wooded acres and offers year round programming in Conferences and Retreats, Outdoor Education, Equestrian, Leadership Adventures and Summer Camp. Guests are provided with diverse programming such as: climbing walls, trail rides, Equestrian programming, canoeing, archery, and a multitude of low and high adventure resources. Our mission at YMCA Camp Kern is to provide a Safe, fun, magical and educational experience for all guests and children through the demonstration of the four core values and practicing a kids and guests first philosophy. Research our facility and branch at our website. www.Campkern.org Sponsoring YMCA: YMCA of Greater Dayton YMCA Location: Dayton, OH Job Description and Required Certifications: YMCA Camp Kern, a branch of the YMCA of Greater Dayton, is searching for a new property director for the first time in 41 years. Camp Kern is 102 year old 485 acre facility looking for a hands on, fun, individual with the highest standards of facility care who can manage an amazing team of full time property staff (4) by example through role modeling and best practices. Must be competent to manage the over 1/2 million dollar department budget and excited to work with the branch senior management team to continue the camp's amazing reputation for program and facility care. Several specific responsibilities include building maintenance, construction, pool maintenance, equipment maintenance, and compliance with all regulating agencies including the American Camping Association. Safety, cleanliness, and magical customer service satisfaction are the driving forces that will ensure facility success. This position is supervised by the Branch Executive Director. Salary Information: Salary range: $35,000-$42,000, comprehensive benefit package includes housing option.
