SUMMER CAMP BUS DRIVER Camp Name: YMCA of Snohomish County Camp Location: Everett, WA Camp Description: Everett Family YMCA Day Camp Sponsoring YMCA: YMCA of Snohomish County YMCA Location: Everett, WA Job Description and Required Certifications: Primary Duties Provide safe transportation to and from program sites. May also provide support in other areas as assigned. Drive safely according to YMCA policies and procedures and state laws Secure occupants/belongings at departures/arrivals Complete thorough before-and-after trip checks each day and record all information Record gas level, mileage, and maintenance on designated forms Clean out vehicle each day Promote safety at all times by keeping first aid supplies fully stocked Ensure that bus rules are announced and followed Communicate regularly with other staff members and supervisor Interacting with participants demonstrating YMCA values Completion of YMCA specific training/certifications as directed Qualifications Minimum age 21 CDL required for summer driving Pre-employment current driver abstract required (available online through dept of licensing) Minimum two years driving experience with clean driving record Possess appropriate class license with knowledge of the rules/guidelines related to commercial passenger vehicles First Aid, CPRPRO, AED and Child Abuse Prevention training within 30 days of hire Provide documentation of current negative TB test if working in a state licensed program Desire and ability to work with participants Work effectively with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions and perceptions Physical Demands: Ability to safely drive a vehicle for long periods of time Ability to respond to emergency situations Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards related to the activity Sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions of position Salary Information: $11.00-13.00/hr DOE Room and Board Provided: No How to Apply: Email Cover Letter, Completed Application, and Resume with three professional references to: Nathan Urtz NUrtz@ymca-snoco.org Fax 425 259 2328 Apply Online: http://www.ymca-snoco.org Apply By Phone: Contact: Nathan Urtz |
